INDONESIA SEND POLRI UNIT PEACE IN PEACE IN SOUTH SUDAN
With consideration to participate in implementing world order based on independence, eternal peace and social justice, on November 20, 2017, President Joko Widodo has signed the Presidential Decree No. 31 of 2017 on Kontingan Garuda Bhayangkara Task Force Formed Police Unit Police Republic of the Republic Indonesia At the United Nations Mission for Peace Maintenance in the Republic of South Sudan (Link: PRESIDENTIAL NUMBER 31 YEAR 2017_1).


Through the Presidential Decree, the Government established a Garuda Bhayangkara Containment of the Task Force of the Formed Police Unit of the Republic of Indonesia on the United Nations Peacekeeping

Mission in the Republic of South Sudan, hereinafter referred to as the UNMISS Police Defense Garbha Task Force.

The President assigns the Minister of Foreign Affairs to coordinate with the United Nations in order to support the preparation, execution and annunciation of the task of Garbha Contingent of Police Task Force of UNMISS.

While the Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) gets the task of carrying out the preparation, delivery, and repatriation of Garbha Contingent Police Task Force of UNMISS.

"The funding required for the Garbha Contingent of the UNMISS FPU Police Task Force is charged to: a. State Budget (APBN) in the Budget section of the Police; and b. United Nations, "reads the fourth dictum of this Decree.


The contingent of Garbha Satgas FPU Polri UNMISS, according to this Presidential Decree, performs duties for 1 (one) year and can be extended according to the request of the United Nations and the decision of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
